Arleen
Bradley
September 23, 1937 – February 13, 2026
Arleen Mae Bradley (née Walter), 88, of Chesterfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Arleen was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother of twins, and a cherished friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Laura Walter; her beloved husband, Kevin Bradley; and her sister, Eleanor Wulff. Her legacy lives on through her son, Matthew Bradley (the late Anne); her daughter, Stacie Friedlein (Tony); and her grandchildren, Meghan and Hunter Bradley. Arleen was also a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Born on September 23, 1937, Arleen was baptized at St. Ann Parish, where she began a life deeply rooted in the Catholic faith. She attended high school at Incarnate Word Academy, forming a sisterhood with her classmates that remained a cornerstone of her life for decades.
Arleen's professional path was as vibrant and varied as her personality. She began her career at Union Electric, later flourished in sales for various party plans, and shared her creative eye as a professional photographer. In her later years, she served as a greeter at Ortmann's Funeral Home and Washington University, a role that allowed her natural kindness to shine as she helped others.
A restless spirit with a thirst for adventure, Arleen traveled the globe, from the historic streets of Europe to the wonders of China. At home, she remained active in the community as a proud member of The Wanderers, the Red Hat Society, various scrapbooking clubs, and the IWA Alumni Association. Above all, Arleen's greatest passion was her grandchildren; she was a constant, cheering presence at every milestone and accomplishment in their lives.
Arleen Bradley lived a life of purpose and joy. While she will be missed greatly, her family will forever cherish the memories of a life truly well-lived.
Visitation will be held at Ortmann-Stipanovich Funeral Home on Thurs., February 19 from 4:00–8:00 p.m. (12444 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141).
