August "Auggie"
Hulseberg
September 18, 2025 – November 25, 2025
With hearts shattered, we share that our precious son, August Stephen Hulseberg, passed away peacefully in our arms on November 25, 2025 at two months old. Though his time on earth was brief, the depth of his impact and the love he brought into this world was immeasurable.
Born on September 18, 2025, August "Auggie" entered the world with a gentle spirit and a courage far beyond his size. The odds were against him from the moment his heart started beating as he was born with a life-limiting genetic condition known as Zellweger Spectrum Disorder.
Auggie faced every challenge with quiet strength while continually beating the odds and showing us what true bravery looked like up until his little body could fight no more. His favorite place was always in the arms of his mom and dad, where he found comfort, safety, and endless love.
His life, though heartbreakingly short, was filled with deep meaning. Our little warrior leaves behind a legacy of love, hope, and the reminder that every moment is precious. He is cherished and survived by his parents, Eric Brandon Hulseberg and Stephanie Nicole Hulseberg, who will carry him in their hearts always. He is also deeply loved by his brothers, Anthony Unger and Liam Hulseberg, grandparents Jan Hulseberg and the late Eric "Ric"
Hulseberg, and Stephen Unger and Elaine Unger; his Aunt Kim Oliver; and his Uncles Ed Unger and Phil Unger.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Auggie's name may be made to the Global Foundation for Peroxisomal Disorders (www.thegfpd.org) to help support families and research for children like him.
Though our arms are empty, our hearts are forever filled with the gift of his life. We are grateful for every moment with him and trust that he rests now in peace and light.
"Auggie, our little butterfly, your wings were ready long before our hearts were."
