Barbara Anne Greenwald (nee Leary) known to friends as "Barb," was born on July 15th 1939 to Francis and Frances Leary. She passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2024.  Beloved wife of the late Michael Greenwald for over 62 years. Dear Mother and mother-in-law to Michael  Greenwald Jr, Andrew (Sarahmarie) Greenwald and Jennifer (Andy) Klearman.  Loving grandma to Stephen Hoffert, Jessie Klearman, Kevin Klearman, Judithanne Greenwald, and Joseph Greenwald. Dear Sister to Frank (Joan) Leary and Dickie Leary: Our dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Barb was born in Trenton, NJ to Francis and Frances Leary.  Barb enjoyed dancing with her husband (the only worthy dance partner she ever knew!), reading, and traveling. Barb was intelligent and someone you would always want on your trivial pursuit team. She experienced life in many states, from New Jersey, to California, Wisconsin, Missouri (St. Louis and The Lake of The Ozarks) and Florida. She was a stay at home mom before becoming a librarian, and could read four books a week.

The mass and funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 13th, 2024, 10 a.m.at Incarnate Word Catholic Church, 13416 Olive Blvd., Chesterfield, MO 63017 immediately followed by a celebration of life at her daughter's home at 14072 Deltona Dr. Chesterfield, MO 63017. All are welcomed.
