Barry J. Martin, of Creve Coeur, MO, formerly of St. Anne, IL, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, at the age of 63.
He was the beloved husband of Kim Martin (née Daisy); cherished father and father-in-law of Megan Martin, Kelli (née Martin) Conti and her husband JJ; loving son of Patricia (late Guy) Beaupre and the late Lavern (Sylvia) Martin. Barry was a dear brother to Jackie (née Martin) Birr and her husband Gary, Michael (Lauri) Martin, Brandi (Rich) Mathews, Brooke (Justin) Payne, Doug (Sue) Beaupre, David (Diane) Beaupre, Karla (Darrell) Arseneau, and Kim Beaupre. He will also be remembered fondly as a treasured brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Barry carried his passion for service into his career as an aerospace engineer. He was a lifelong lover of music and an incredible guitarist—able to make any room sing, dance, and come alive with nothing but his guitar and his signature smile. Whether surrounded by friends or strangers, Barry was always the life of the party.
Visitation will be held at Ortmann-Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, MO, on Sunday, June 15, from 12:00–2:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Celebration of life will be held immediately after the funeral service at 1950 Parkland Woods Dr., Maryland Heights, MO. A burial with full military honors will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Monday, June 16 at 10:30 a.m. Procession will leave funeral home at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Breakthrough T1D at http://www2.breakthrought1d.org, an organization close to the family's heart.
Barry aimed high and will always fly, fight, win.
