Passed away on June 17, 2022
The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am July 9th, 2022 at The Center for Spiritual Living. 12875 Fee Fee Road. Saint Louis, Missouri 63146. Burial will follow the funeral at Holy Cross Cemetery, 16200 Manchester Road. Ellisville, Missouri 63040.
Beloved husband of the late Marina Jeanette Scheer (nee Pressendo); devoted father of Carlos David Scheer (Rachel Keturah); loving grandfather of Shaylyn Elissa and Cheyanne Marie-Jeanette Scheer; dear brother of Noemi Adela Melloy.
Carlos was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. December 5, 1939. He graduated high school with honors and continued his schooling to become a Certified Public Accountant and received his Bachelors degree. Due to his outstanding academic achievements he proceeded to receive a full scholarship from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management where he earned his Masters degree.
Carlos worked as the Director of International Finance for Barry-Wehmiller for many years, which enabled him to travel the globe extensively and added another layer to his full life. He spoke Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
After retirement, he continued to perform special projects as interpreter and translator in legal, medical and human resource management situations. Carlos was passionate about Amateur Radio which he actively enjoyed since childhood. He enjoyed wood working, building electronic equipment and loved jazz music. He also regularly volunteered at St. Lukes Hospital and other charities. Carlos was married for 38 years to Marina who passed in 2008.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Spiritual Living, the International Health Services of Minnesota or charity of your choice.
