Carol Mock, age 82, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025.
Carol was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and loyal friend whose life was deeply rooted in faith, service, and family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Mock; her daughter, Sara Shavers; and her cherished grandchildren, Trever Toll, Madisen Shavers, and Ava Shavers, who were the greatest joys of her life. A faithful Catholic, Carol lived her beliefs through quiet acts of kindness and generous service to others. She found her greatest peace in her garden, where her beloved daylilies flourished under her devoted care. Tending to them was more than a hobby—it was a source of comfort, reflection, and joy. Carol took pride in nurturing each bloom, sharing her knowledge, her plants, and her appreciation for their beauty with anyone who showed interest. Her garden was a place of calm and welcome, much like Carol herself. Carol also volunteered with numerous organizations throughout the St. Louis community, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her compassion, patience, and gentle generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Carol will be remembered for her warm heart, quiet strength, and the love she shared so freely with her family, her community, and in every flower she so carefully tended.
