Carol Wilson
May 4, 1938 - July 17, 2024

Carol Wilson (née O'Neil) passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024. She was the beloved mother of Ellen Wilson (Garbacz) and mother-in-law of the late Daniel Garbacz. Carol was the adored daughter of the late Marguerite (née Selby) and Francis O'Neil and sister to the late Michael O'Neil. She was a dear cousin and friend to many.

A native of St. Louis, Carol graduated from De Andreis High School and attended the University of Missouri, St. Louis. She was a successful realtor who lived in Bridgeton, where she raised her daughter and was an active member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Church.

Carol was known for her quick wit, winning smile, big blue eyes, and infectious laugh. Those of us who had the pleasure of knowing her will never forget her sense of humor, her unique "Carolisms," and her passion for life. She loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards, going to the casino, and enjoying steak dinners. Carol thrived on lively conversation and being surrounded by people who loved her. She was a wonderful mother, a devoted daughter, a loyal sister, cousin, and friend. Carol's spirit will live forever in our hearts and cherished memories. She was an unforgettable force with a heart of gold.

Services: A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2024, at Incarnate Word Parish, 13416 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017.
