Obituary

Charles Joseph Forgue, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Beloved husband of Frances Forgue (nee Piotrowski); dear father and father-in-law of Andrea (Tom) Brockmann and Charles Forgue II; dear grandfather of Noah, Matthew, Sean, and the late Michael Joseph; dear brother of Nancy (Kirk) Molzahn and the late Robert Forgue (Rhonda Dahl); our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.

Born on March 15, 1942 to Charles & Dorothy (Kermes) Forgue in Chicago, IL. Charles married the love of his life, Frances Piotrowski, in 1965. He graduated from Northern Illinois University and completed his MBA at DePaul University. His career began at the Ball Seed Company in West Chicago, IL, where he installed their first computer system. After many years, his career path changed when he took a job with the C.V. Mosby Company, which resulted in relocating his family to St. Louis. They resided in Chesterfield, and he was involved with various organizations including the Chamber of Commerce.

Chuck was a talented trumpeter, having played in a band with his beloved late brother-in-law, Larry (which is how he met Fran). Chuck enjoyed watching sports, listening to music, tinkering with computers, vacationing at the beach, and spending time with family and friends. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, incredible work ethic and his love for his family.
