Charles E. Hill

Beloved husband of the late Fronia Marie Hill (nee Lynn); dear father and father-in-law of Gary D. (Sue) Hill, Wayne (Joan Mayberry) Hill, Robert M. (Pat) Hill, Russell D. (Kim) Hill, Scott A. Hill, Pat J. Wilkins and Teresa A. Brown; dear brother of Bessie Louise Hill, Pauline Elizabeth (Berry, King) Hill, Juanita Marie Berry, Doris Stella Mae Besselman, Billy Donald Lee (Doris) Hill, Betty Joyce Burris, Margaret Claudette Pilsing, Alice Charlene Campbell, Carolyn Jean Hill, all deceased and survived by Dorothy Maxine Toole and Shirley Jean Costephens; our dear grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Mr. Hill was a WWII Veteran, a member of the U.S. Army, 6th Armored Division.  His unit participated in the freeing of incarcerated Jews at Buchenwald in Germany, which was the largest concentration camp in the country.

Funeral Service at the Ortmann Funeral Home, 9222 Lackland Rd., Overland, MO 63114 on Wednesday, March 12 at 11:30am with visitation from 9:30am until time of service. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
