Our beloved Christiana "Christy" Rinck Koenemann of Kirkwood, Mo., passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on December 27, 2025, at the age of 38.

Christy was a smart, loving and caring individual. She was a loyal friend to many, and a wonderful aunt to three beautiful nieces that she adored and loved fiercely.  Christy also had a soft spot for animals, in particular, dogs. She loved partaking in trips to the zoo with her nieces, and there wasn't a dog Christy had met that she didn't like. In her adolescent years, Christy was a very talented swimmer. After graduating high school, she earned a scholarship to DePauw University for swimming, but later finished her education in St. Louis. She enjoyed working out, spending time at the family pool, planning sleepovers with her nieces and enjoying nights out with her friends. Christy admits that she was always happiest when she was traveling, and she took great pride in helping people see the world and make new memories in her most recent career as a travel agent.
Most of all, Christy was a loving daughter to Chris and Linda Koenemann and a dear sister to Cory, Kurt and Nicholas (Erin) Koenemann. She leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins that loved her and cared for her.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, January 2, at 11:00 AM at Bonhomme Presbyterian Church (14820 Conway Rd). A celebration of life for Christy's family and friends will follow at Bellerive Country Club (12925 Ladue Rd).
