Christopher "Chris" Kelly, aged 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Florissant, MO on January 28, 2026 surrounded by his loved ones. He leaves behind his four children, John, Michael (Sue), Jennifer (Tim) and Shawn; his siblings Ann (Dennis), Bob, Mike (Julita), Jim, Tim (Peggy), Pete (Gina), Marie, Brian (Joanne), Matt, and his sister-in-law Vicki; His Grandchildren Alexis, Hannah, Johnny, Vera, Shaylee and Remi along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in Death by Parents Robert James and Mary Rita Kelly (Boyce) and his brother Stephen Kelly.

Computer programmer by day, referee by night but parent/grandparent always! His family was his pride and joy, if he wasn't with them, he was talking about them. Having a large family, he enjoyed making memories with them while golfing, hiking, camping, traveling or sitting around while jokes filled the air with laughter. Sports were always a source of enjoyment for Chris. If he wasn't refereeing basketball or soccer, he was watching, playing or teaching sports to anyone that wanted to learn or understand the sport better. His signature in life was being the best person he could be – honest, loyal and caring. If you wanted his advice, he'd be happy to give it, which made people love and respect him. Chris had such an impact on so many people and will always be remembered for his love, kindness and living life to the fullest. He will truly be missed by many.

Visitation will be held at Ortmann Funeral Home, 9222 Lackland Rd. Overland, MO 63114, on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 2 to 6:00 p.m., followed by the Service at 6:00 p.m.
