DANIEL J. SLENKER

July 11, 1949  -  Apr 7, 2025

Fortified with the Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully Monday, April 7, 2025.

Loving and devoted husband for 49 years of Molly M. Slenker, dear father and father-in-law of Brian (Tiffani) Slenker, dear father of Elizabeth "Betsy" (Matthew) Spezia, dear grandfather of Emmaline Slenker, Daniel and Abigail Spezia, beloved brother-in-law of William "Bill" and Annie Slenker.

After graduating from Affton High School in 1967, Dan attended Southeast Missouri State where he received a BS in Political Science and English. He later received his MBA and a Master in Education at Webster University and Washington University respectively. Dan began his teaching career in the Mehlville School District where he taught for six years.  He then took his business knowledge to NCR where he sold mainframe computers.  This started a long career in sales which spanned nearly 40 years.

Dan was a tenderhearted family man and will be dearly missed by all.  He took great pride in his children and grandchildren. Dan enjoyed numerous family vacations, a favorite being Naples, FL.

Services: Visitation ~ May 2 at Ortmann Stipanovich, 12444 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO  4-8 pm

A funeral Mass will be held on May 3, 10 am at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 1510 Bopp Road, Des Peres, MO
