David Alan Scott SR passed away quietly Saturday June 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with ALS. David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Judy; daughter Tina and wife Meredith, son JR and wife Nicole, son Clayton and girlfriend Lauryn, 3 beloved grandsons Haydden, Wyatt and Quentin who he adored.
He will be missed by his sister Barbara, in-laws Joy and Bob, Jan and Brent, numerous nieces, nephews as well as extended family and countless friends.
David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a passion for helping others in need and would give you a dollar when he didn't have one to give. David was brilliant, compassionate and silly. He enjoyed weekends at the cabin with Judy, fishing with his boys, spending time with his daughter in South Carolina, playing guitar, problem solving, and long motorcycle rides but his greatest love was spending time with his grandsons.
Those who knew him will remember him as the kindest man they've ever known.
Visitation at Ortmann's, 9222 Lackland Rd. Overland Fri., June 27, from 3-6 p.m. Service at 6 p.m.
