Dolores Ellen Weekly
January 1, 1929 – November 30, 2020
Dolores was born on January 19, 1929, daughter of the late Howard and Rachel Weekly.
She is survived by her dear cousins Bill and Paula McKinney, her loving surrogate
Linehan family nieces and nephews, and many Overland friends.
Dolores spent her last year at Mother of Good Counsel Home and passed away peacefully
on November 30 from complications of Covid 19. She was a resident of Overland for 60
plus years and was a Member of the Overland Historical Society. She retired from Pet
Foods after many years of service. Dolores was a gifted knitter and quilter who donated a
lot of her talents to different charities and family members.
Dolores loved nothing more than a gathering of any kind with family and friends. She
loved going to lunch with her friends. Dolores touched so many lives and her legacy of
independence, positive spirit and a great sense of humor will not be forgotten. She will be
greatly missed.
At her request, there will be no formal service. Dolores requested that her ashes be
returned to Eidson Cemetary in Belleview, Missouri.
