Beloved son of the late Joseph and Adell Antal; dear brother of the late Ronald C. Antal and the late Joseph C. "Butch" (Linda) Antal, Jr.; dear uncle of Katelyn (Micah) Bolton; dear great-uncle of Emma and Lucy Bolton; our dear brother-in-law, nephew, cousin and friend.

Don was born on August 15, 1941. He was an avid golfer and was taught how to play by his father Joe. In 1958, he placed second in the Missouri Amateur Championship Golf Tournament. Don grew up in Bellefontaine Neighbors and attended school at the Riverview Public Schools. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving as an Electrical Inspector for the aircraft rolling off the assembly line. He attended St. Louis Community College where he achieved Associate degrees in Management/Supervisory Development and Data Processing, Legal Assistant. From the University of Missouri St. Louis, he obtained a BS in Business Administration, followed by a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Webster University St. Louis. After graduating, he worked as a Marketing Representative, Assistant Bank Examiner and finally, an auditor/accountant for the Department of the Army. His career as an auditor/accountant included travel and residency throughout Western Europe for over a year. Don spoke often of his trips to Germany and Scotland and the golf courses he played there. He was proud to be a member of the German Volksmarch Club, a non-competitive fitness walking sport popular in Ramstein, Stuttgart and Wiesbaden.
