Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection. Beloved husband of the late Sandra Nadine Barton (nee Mullins); dear son of the late Chester and Angeline (Licavoli) Barton; dear father and father-in-law of James (Michelle) Barton, Becky (Mark) Wells, David Barton and Tina (William) Glasgow and step-father of the late Bruce (the late Michelle) Ball, Gary Ball, LaVonne Cross and Tonya Ball; loving grandfather of Eric (Amanda) and Jeremy Ringkamp, Tiffany, Breanna, David and Nicki Barton and Noah Glasgow and step-grandfather of Kenny and Kyle; loving great-grandfather of Ariana, Anthony, Augustus, Jayden, Liam and Raya; dear brother of the late Thomas Barton, Carol Ward and David (Connie) Barton; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Don was a proud U.S. Marine, avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved trout fishing and gambling, especially horse racing and dog racing. His favorite trifecta bet was 324 and on his last trip to Wheeling, West Virginia, he won the Kentucky Derby.

Funeral Mass at Holy Family Parish St. David Church, 2334 Tenbrook Rd., Arnold, MO 63010 on Tuesday, June 25 at 11 a.m. with visitation at church 1 hour prior to mass. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kaufmann Fund-St. Louis, U.S.O., Wounded Warrior Project or the DAV.
