Donald A. Hunt, 85, passed away March 8, 2025. He was born to Lena (nee Emht) and Guy Hunt on September 11, 1939. He was the beloved husband of Dolores (nee Mueller); dear father to Paige (John) Altmayer; beloved grandfather of John, April, and Alyssa; dear brother of Jim (the late Mary Sue) Hunt; beloved uncle to Jamie, Susan, Chris, Jon, Kara, Marilyn, Jennifer, and the late Jeff; dear brother-in-law to Marilyn Cournoyer and Dale (Judy) Mueller. He was also survived by many family members and friends.

Donald served the city Maryland Heights for 24 years in planning and zoning and as a councilman. He was also a 65-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm until time of funeral service at Ortmann-Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Boulevard, Creve Coeur, MO 63141. Luncheon will follow at the Maryland Heights Government Center, 11911 Dorsett Rd, Maryland Heights, MO 63043. A private burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
