Donna Lynn
Stenshoel
October 14, 1960 – January 27, 2025
Donna Lynn Stenshoel
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Lynn Stenshoel, 64, of Overland, MO. She left this world on January 27, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and unwavering strength.
Born on October 14, 1960, in Saint Charles, MO, Donna was the beloved daughter of Eileen Martin and her cherished stepfather, Charles (Chuck) Martin. She dedicated over 35 years of her life to the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier and union representative, where she tirelessly advocated for her fellow workers before retiring in November 2022.
Donna found joy in life's simple pleasures—reading, spending time with her children, family, and friends, trying new restaurants, fishing, relaxing at Lost Valley Lake Resort, and doting on her four beloved grand-dogs. More recently, she discovered a passion for quilting and puzzles. But above all, her greatest love was her best friend, Ruby, her faithful dog, who surely greeted her in Heaven with a wagging tail.
She was the proud mother of Adam J. Stenshoel and Christina M. Hoy (Stenshoel). She was the youngest woman out of six siblings—Alan, Kevin (deceased), Danny, Kathy, Susan, and Brian. Donna's sharp wit, stubborn spirit, and fiercely loving heart made her unforgettable. She was someone who would fight for the people she loved and always found a way to bring humor into any moment. She touched countless lives with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering loyalty.
A visitation to celebrate Donna's life will be held on February 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Ortmann Funeral Home (9222 Lackland Rd, St. Louis, MO 63114), followed by a luncheon at the Overland Lions Club (2358 Lackland Rd, Overland, MO 63114).
She was one of a kind, and her strength, kindness, and unforgettable spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
