Edwin Thomas Aumiller
April 6, 1945 – August 30, 2025

Edwin "Ed" Thomas Aumiller of Washington, Missouri went home to his beloved Lord and Savior August 30, 2025.  In the days preceding his final hours, he was surrounded by his family and close friends.  He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and grew up in Creve Coeur, Missouri.  He attended St. Monica grade school, Mercy High School and St. Louis University.  He moved to Washington, Missouri and worked at Washington High School until his retirement, was a loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan, and loved crossword puzzles, solitaire, and spending time with his family.  Ed leaves a lasting legacy of love.

Ed was the first of four children born to the late Edwin C. and Florence (Rekart) Aumiller.  He was preceded in death by his brother John and sister-in-law Roxanne (Thomason) Aumiller.  He is survived by his sisters Mary Jo (Mike) Carpenter and Donna (David) Whiteley; his children, Christopher (Christy), Helena (Todd) Wilson, and Charlena Aumiller (Ryan McGehee); his grandchildren Patrick, Amber, Phineas, Merrick, Roxanna, and Carolynna; his great-grandchildren Alana, Edwin, Jericho, Aech, Kylar, Amiya, Reyna, and Evie.  A loving uncle and great-uncle and dear friend to Lisa Snider.

There will be a memorial Mass at St. Monica Catholic Church, 12136 Olive Street Road, Creve Coeur, Missouri on Monday, September 8 at 10am following visitation with the family starting at 9am.  Interment immediately following Mass at St. Monica cemetery.

Ed and his family give special thanks to the medical team and staff at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri for their exceptional care during his final days.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to The ALS Association, Mission:318, or your favorite charity.
