Edwin H. Schaub

Edwin H. Schaub passed away peacefully in his home on May 1, 2026 at age 91. He was born October 29, 1934 in University City, MO. Ed attended University City High School. He joined the Marines in 1951, serviced 3 years and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. On returning, he attended Rolla School of Mines where he met life long friends. Ed married the love of his life, Shirley Koch, in 1957. They were married for 68 years.

Ed ran work for Paric and many years for Kemp Homes. He built a home in Breckenridge, CO for his daughter and a home in Eagle, CO for his son.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Margaret; sister, Ruth (Dutch) Brosnan; sons, Tom and John; step mother, Florence Schaub; stepbrother, George Dowdy and nephew, George Richard Dowdy.

Ed is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Robyn Lollar, Tracy Schaub and Frank Schaub; grandchildren, Chris (Jet) Lollar, Kara (Ryan) Melnick and Kevyn (Cece) Lollar; great grandchildren, Kaiya Lollar, Rowyn and Finnley.

A memorial service will be scheduled in July.
