It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Garry Wilbert Lancaster, a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend on April 14, 2025 at the age of 69.

Family was everything to Garry. He lived a life grounded in love, loyalty, and quiet strength. He was a gentle giant. A kind soul that would not hesitate to help others in need; whether it was money, an appliance, a place to stay, advice, sharing stories, or simply being present. Garry's greatest joy came from the time spent with those he loved and by helping others in need. He was the foundation and the heart of our family—always there, always steady.

Garry's legacy includes four children, Casey Herter, Jeremy (Abby) Lancaster, Dustin (Renee) Lancaster, and the late Timothy Collins; 18 grandchildren; and countless others whose lives he touched with kindness and wisdom.

Visitation at Ortmann-Stipanovich funeral home on Sat., April 26th from 9-11 a.m. Service at 11 a.m. Interment Lake Charles Cemetery.
