Beloved son of the late Andrew and Natalie Rahm; dear brother of Sandra (Andy) Overmyer, dear uncle of Drew (Allison) Overmyer and Amy (Eric) Zuzack, dear cousin, and dear friend to those who knew him..

Gary was a 1968 graduate of Central Missouri State College (now UCM) with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree.  He was a Vietnam War Veteran (1969-1971), and then served in the Air National Guard until 1983 and the U.S. Air Force until 1986.  He was a police officer for the cities of  Woodson Terrace and then Bridgeton (from which he retired).  He was a member of American Legion Thoman Boothe Post 338.

Funeral will be at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur on Friday, November 8 at 10 a.m. with visitation from 8:30 am until time of service. Interment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to  BackStoppers, the VFW, or the Humane Society of Missouri.
