Beloved husband of the late Shirley Ann Fister (nee Blackford); dear father and father-in-law of Cherie (René) Fister-Trapaga, Michelle (Don) Burmester, Amy (Cathy) Fister, Andrew (Carrie Roider) Fister, Peter Fister and Matthew (Lisa) Fister; loving grandfather of Amy Marie Peacock, Jesse (Aimee Loyet) Burmester, Leigh (Bill) Misner, Stephen (Jill) Fister, Tera Lynne (Tommy Willett) Fister, Benjamin Fister, Eleanor Fister and George Fister; loving step grandfather of Marcelina (Candace) Michel-Trapaga and Reyna (Nina Vasquez) Michel-Trapaga; loving great-grandfather of Lucas and Josephine Hanneken, Maeve and Ryan Peacock and Lucy and Simon Fister.

Jerry was a model of love and commitment to his Roman Catholic faith, wife, family and friends.  He will be missed, but his example will not be forgotten.

Funeral Mass at Christ Prince of Peace Church, 415 Weidman Rd., Manchester, MO on Friday, October 18 at 11 a.m. with visitation at church from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Christ Prince of Peace Church appreciated.
