Harry William Boyts, 80, of Maryland Heights, Missouri, passed away on October 28, 2023. Born on December 13, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri, Harry was a beloved husband, dearest father, and cherished grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle.
Harry was a dedicated family man, having been married to his loving wife, Ellen (nee Roberts) for 58 yrs. Together, they raised three children: Richard (Jenny), Rhonda Langdon, and Renee (Greg) Stark. Harry adored his grandchildren: Jeremy, Richie, Stevie, Jesse, Jake, Sarah, Hannah, Jack, and Nora, as well as his great-grandchildren, Kiley, Brayden and Ava. He is also survived by his brother James and many nieces and nephews.
Harry was preceded in death by his mother Marie, father Harry, sister Dorothy (Dottie), brother Albert (Bud), son-in-law Jerry Langdon, and grandson Ross.
In his free time, Harry enjoyed several hobbies, including fishing, camping, bowling, and cooking. He was known for his love of Busch beer and spent many winters in Florida, enjoying the sunshine. Harry's warm and friendly personality made him a joy to be around, and he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
Harry proudly served his country as a member of the Army National Guard. He also had a successful career as a printer pressman.
A memorial service will be held on Sat. November 11, 2023, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9135 Shelley Ave. 63114. Visitation will take place from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, followed by the service at 1:00pm. Immediately after the service, an open reception will be held in the fellowship hall across the street from the church. Food, drinks, and prayer will be offered in remembrance of Harry's life from 1:30pm-4:00pm. All are invited to join in celebrating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Overland, Missouri.
Please join us in honoring and remembering Harry Boyts, His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live on in our hearts.
