previous wife of the late Richard Thomas; dear mother and mother-in-law of Peter (Mary) Thomas, Molly Thomas and John Thomas; dear grandmother of Andrew and Matthew Thomas; dear sister of the late Tom and d'Arcy James; dear sister-in-law of Mary James; dear cousin of Helen Cox; our dear aunt, great-aunt and friend to many.

Helen was an avid reader, enjoyed history and Irish studies and had a Manhattan every night at 5 p.m.

Funeral from the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur Thurs., March 24, 9:30 a.m. to Incarnate Word Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection cemetery. Visitation from 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association appreciated.
