Jack A. Avenevoli
December 8, 1969 - November 28, 2024

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved husband, Jack Avenevoli, who left us on November 28, 2024. He was a devoted husband, loving son, and an exceptional friend.

Born on December 12, 1969 in St. Louis, MO, Jack was the only child of Sharon Borgelt and Kenneth Avenevoli. Jack met the love of his life, Katie, and they were married for 15 wonderful years. Jack was a dedicated husband who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

Jack had a love for playing guitar and enjoyed being a ham radio operator in his free time. He was known for his sense of humor, his lovable crabbiness, and his willingness to help others.  He was most proud of his fundraising efforts for other people with cancer by forming the F* Cancer All Star Band.

He is survived by his wife Katie and beloved Aunt Judy Loeb and Uncle Roger Loeb, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A visitation will be held on December 4, 2024, at Ortmann Funeral Home 9222 Lackland Road Overland, MO from 4 to 8. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Siteman Cancer Center or St. Animal Pet Adoptions. Jack will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace.
