Beloved wife of the late Winston J. Gintz; dear daughter of the late George and Francis Buechler; dear sister of Patricia R. (late Don) Tesson and the late George Buechler, Robert Buechler, William Buechler, Virginia Buechler, Thomas (late June “Hoosier”) Buechler and June R. (late Mal) Tesson; dear aunt of Thomas (Marsha) Buechler Jr., Bret (Theresa) Tesson, Phyllis (late Joseph) Bruemer, Jackie (Lew English) Abels, Denise (Daniel) Carroll and the late Bruce Buechler; dear great-aunt of Joshua (Elizabeth) Bruemer, Catherine (Chad) Nord, Lee Tesson, Stephanie (Greg) Wozniak, Sarah (Joseph) Dobbie and Michelle (Jeff) Dobbie; dear sister-in-law of Joyce Schweppe.

“Jackie” Gintz passed away peacefully at the age of 97 after a brief illness. She made friends easily and will be remembered as someone who always made you feel welcomed. She lived a full and wonderful life with her husband “Winnie”. Jackie was surrounded by a close group of family and friends and will truly be missed by those who knew her.

Visitation at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur on Friday, July 31 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life luncheon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any veterans’ organization.
