Jacqui died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 28 at her home. She was 66.

Jacqui was raised in St Ann where her loving parents taught her and her three siblings the importance of faith and family.

She graduated from Pattonville Senior High School and went on to attend the University of Missouri St Louis where she furthered her musical talents in choir, piano, and guitar. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree she started a career in communications and the entertainment industry.

Jacqui became an award-winning video producer and director, specializing in human-interest stories, childrens’ shows, and the local music scene. During her career she won fourteen Emmys, thirty-three Tellies, and many other awards and accolades, too many to mention.

For the Christmas holidays she loved to go to Colorado and spend time with her older sister, two nieces, and their families. Health issues over the last few years prevented her from traveling and the holidays were then celebrated at her home. She referred to her home as her “nest” and would decorate for every holiday and then host get togethers.

When not hosting family and friends, she enjoyed watching movies of her favorite entertainer, Elvis, on tv, catching up with friends on Facebook, listening to music, or maybe feeding Scooter the squirrel on her balcony. She was an avid nature photographer and would take beautiful pictures and text them to friends and family.

Jacqui was a kind, caring, and giving person. She had many friends, some for over forty years. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
