Jake (Jakey) Riley Tallon, 14, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March, 1st, 2025 surrounded by his loving family and close friends.  Jake was a warrior who bravely fought brain cancer since 2021.

Jake was born on July 29, 2010, in Newmarket, Ontario, to Darcy and Stephanie Tallon.  Jake and his family relocated from Newmarket to the Atlanta area in 2014, eventually settling down in the St. Louis area in 2019.  Jake has positively touched the hearts and minds of many along his journey.

Jake was a very bright and dedicated student enjoying his freshmen year of high school at Chaminade College Preparatory School when tragedy struck.  Chaminade was Jake's home, and we are forever grateful to his classmates, peers, and faculty for the tremendous love and support for Jake as he pushed through treatment.  As late as January he was looking forward to AP class selections so he could stay ahead and prepare for college.

Jake was an avid soccer player and fan of his St. Louis City SC.  Jake's talents were first discovered in Atlanta by the United Futbol Academy followed by St. Louis Scott Gallagher, where in 2022 he was inducted into their Living Legacy Hall of Fame.  For the last few seasons, Jake joined a smaller club playing for the St. Louis STARS SC, once again touching hearts and making lifelong friends along the way.  Jake also loved fishing, Disney, scary movies, his dogs, alpine skiing, snorkeling, Pokémon, video games, hanging out with friends and helping others every chance he could.

Jake's full yet short journey has left many broken hearts around the globe.  He is sadly survived by his grandmother Nicole Champoux, his parents, siblings Amanda, Jeremy and Jaden.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Paul Dubé, Raymonde (Bélanger)Tallon and Edgar Tallon.

A visitation will be held at Chaminade College Preparatory School in the Skip Viragh Center, 425 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63131 on Wednesday March 5th from 3:30pm-7:00pm.

A funeral service will be held at Chaminade College Preparatory School in the Skip Viragh Center Thursday March 6th from 2:30pm-4:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Chaminade Fund – Chaminade College Preparatory School

Jake's kindness and smile touched all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
