father-in-law of John (Kim) Griffin, Michael (Holly) Griffin, Genevieve
(Patrick) Ploch, Joseph (Shana) Griffin and William Griffin; dear
grandfather of Cora, Duke, Faye, Caelum, Kaia, Rosalind, Griffin, Declan
and Max; dear brother of Daniel (Janet) Griffin and the late Robert
(Suzanne) Griffin; dear brother-in-law of Deborah (Daniel) Murphy, Edward
(Judy) Fink, Daniel (Ann) Fink, James (Vicki) Fink, John (Tina) Fink, Laura
(Kevin) Beever and Joel (Lucy) Fink; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and
friend.
Jim was a passionate lover of Christ, his family, and his country. As a man
that refused to get pinned down, his interests were broad and extensive; from
the calm of the wilderness to the roar of an engine, he delighted in the
experiences of this life. He developed a taste for service and hard work as a
young boy, and never stopped using his considerable gifts, particularly his
iron will, in pursuit of those ideals to the benefit of those he loved. A fan of
the Old West, Jim rides off into the sunset with Christ at his side and the
peace of knowing it was a life well lived.
