Beloved husband of the late Pauline A. Ponder (nee Russo); dear father and father-in-law of Mark (Renee) Ponder and David (Angela) Ponder; dear grandfather of Morgan (Mike) Lyle, Collin Ponder and Daniel Ponder; dear great grandfather of Macklin and Callum; dear brother of Sue (Jerry) Dudak; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, Tuesday, March 18 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Monica Church on Wednesday, March 19 at 11 am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project , P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
