Jane M. Decker 1/19/1926-9/15/2025 (nee Rohlfing)

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Edward Decker; dear daughter of the late Emma M. (Dischinger) Rohlfing and Clarence Eugene Rohlfing; dear mother and mother-in-law of Joseph Patrick Decker, Kevin Edward & Donna Theresa Decker, Claudia Jane (the late Joseph Patrick) Dougherty and Glenn J. and Martha Decker; dear grandmother of Kathryn Elizabeth (Michael) McNamara, Mark Joseph (Mary) Decker, Claire Decker, Sean Decker, Liam Decker and Aileen Decker; dear great grandmother of Declan McNamara, Sullivan McNamara, Cormac Decker, Rooney Decker and Kiernan Decker; dear sister of Mary Alice (the late Angelo) Mannisi.

After her children were out of elementary school, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a nurse. Jane graduated from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in 1971. For many years Jane worked at Cardinal Glennon Hospital and retired after working 22 years in an ear, nose and throat private practice. She was a conscientious caring nurse and was loved by her co-workers and patients.

Jane enjoyed oil painting and singing, singing many years in the St. John Bosco Church Choir. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who cherished her.

Visitation at St. Monica Church, 12136 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63141, Fri., Sept. 19 from 9-11 a.m. Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred or donations to Humane Society, Blessed Theresa Calcutta or St. Vincent DePaul Society.
