After a long courageous battle with cancer, Jane Ann Petty passed away peacefully on January 23, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones.

Jane was born in Saint Louis, MO on June 11, 1952. She was the most selfless and giving person, always willing to offer her love and support at any given moment without expecting anything in return.

Jane was passionate about gardening and when she was not busy taking care of her furry babies Griffin and Gretta, you would find her in the yard always keeping it so beautiful. No doubt, she could work circles around any 20-year-old out there.

Jane was a fiercely devoted and caring mother and grandmother, always putting the needs of her family before her own. Never did she want anything for herself but wanted everything for those she loved. She didn't have a lot but was happier than most who had everything. If you knew her, you may say that her grandchildren saved her life-they were her everything. Jane was a kind and beautiful soul who was a source of inspiration to us all. She will be deeply missed by all those who were lucky enough to have had her touch their lives.

Jane was preceded by Norbert and Mary Walther, Mary Lee Dalton and Steven Benz. In addition to Rick, Beth, Mackenzi, Ryker, and Easton, she leaves behind 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, 1 brother, many friends and family.

Celebration of Life for Jane Petty (Walther-Bittner) will be held on Saturday, February 11 at Maggie O'Briens, 3828 South Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63127 from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 p.m.
