Janet Kay Meyer {Money}, baptized in hope of Christ's resurrection, passed away on 7/12/23, at the age
of 86. Beloved mother of Mary Rodgers, Julie {Les} Swaney, the late Elizabeth Faria, and Pamela {Scott}
Welker; cherished grandmother of Leah and Mariah {Derek Weathersby} Day; Ashley, David, and Dana
Rodgers; Anna, Grace, and August Welker; Great grandmother of Christian and Liam Rodgers, Elijah and
Elizabeth (Libby) Weathersby, Jack Rodgers and Calvin and Theo Swaney.
Janet was the beloved daughter of the late Alfred and Florence {Zerega} Money. Dear sister of
Susan {Don}, Mueller and sister-in-law of the late Sr. Mary Joan Meyer FSM, Martha {Robert} Czarnecki,
Louis {Kathy} Meyer, Jr, and Jane {Don} Helfers. Many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and
nephews, cousins and special friends. Janet loved all of them so much. Janet was married to Ken Meyer
over 45 years.
Janet was a proud Italian who loved cooking and entertaining, playing games and cards, watching the St.
Louis Cardinals, music, and tennis. She played the organ for several churches and funeral homes and
hosted many, many sing a-longs around her beloved baby grand piano and loved her time with family.
Services will be held on July 21st at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wentzville. Visitation at 9:00am
followed by a Mass at 10:00am with a luncheon following. Janet's body has been donated to St. Louis
University School of Medicine.
