Janice Marie Lindell (nee Funk)

Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Friday, February 17, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Jon Lindell; cherished mother and mother-in-law of Jon (Christine), Rob (Tracy), Tom, Joe (Deborah) and the late Mark Lindell; dear grandmother of Jon, Josh, Chelsea, Chase, Nicky, Julia and Olivia; dear sister of Carole Schmitt and Nicholas Funk; dear aunt, sister-in-law and friend to many.

Janice raised her four boys and then went to work as a teacher with the Special School District. She enjoyed spending time with the grandkids at the zoo and watching them excel at school, sports and life.  Her strength, resilience, love, compassion and generosity were passed onto her sons and grandchildren.

Visitation at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Wednesday, February 22 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Monica Church, 12136 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Thursday, February 23 at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Evelyn's House, BJC Hospice .
