JEAN M. MYERS, 94, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2023. Jean was born on August 1, 1928 in York
PA to the late Daniel R. and Lillian V. Rittenhouse. Although an only child she grew up surrounded by a
large extended family including many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A loving wife for fifty-six years of
marriage, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Myers (Bob) by whom she was
affectionally called "Jeannie Mae". A devoted mom/grandma/nana, she is survived by her only
daughter, Susan Dahlin (Tom); three grandchildren, Katie Peirick (Aaron), Kristin Hubert (Kale), and Kyle
Dahlin along with three great-grandchildren; Ainsley, Max and Leo. Prior to marriage, Jean worked for
York Bank & Trust Co. Bob & Jean lived in Harrisburg PA for thirteen years before relocating in 1977 to
Tampa, FL. For forty-two years, Bob & Jean resided in Temple Terrace, FL. As a member of the Temple
Terrace Golf & Country Club, Jean enjoyed playing both golf and bridge. She formed many life-long
friendships through the Temple Terrace Women's Golf Association. With many fond memories, Jean was
loved by all and will be greatly missed. A private burial will be held.
