Jeremy "J"
Michael Hudson
June 13, 1976 – February 4, 2025
In Loving Memory
Jeremy "J" Michael Hudson
June 13, 1976 - February 4, 2025
Jeremy "J" Michael Hudson, beloved son of the late Brenda Hudson (nee Kinser) and Paul Hudson, dear brother of Tim (Angie) Hudson and Greg (Kelsey) Hudson, and dear uncle to Isaac, Dominic, Annalyn, Natalie, Dex, Tommy, and William Hudson, passed away on February 4, 2025.
J was a prolific writer, musician, traveler, and creator. From an early age, he was drawn to the inner workings of computers, security, and networks, a passion that led him to study electrical engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia with a focus on the then-emerging field of computer science. This curiosity evolved into a career in technology.
J's desire to learn extended far beyond the technical world. He was fluent in German and spent several years living and working in Germany, deepening his appreciation for language, culture, and the written word. He also pursued a love of performance, living for a time in Los Angeles, performing on camera as an actor and on the stage as a humorist.
But it was in nature that J found his deepest peace. He cherished time spent in the quiet of the outdoors, far from the bright lights and hectic noises of the city. These were the moments when he felt most connected — to himself, to the world, and to the universe. He wrote passionately and often, exploring subjects as varied as technology, politics, spirituality, science fiction, and the human condition in modern life. Without a doubt, J lived life with both curiosity and creativity. He will be remembered for his constantly moving mind, his restless spirit, and the stories he left behind.
