John H. Fahey Jr. Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection Wed., Dec. 13, 2023

Beloved father of Emily, Joshua, and Lydia Fahey; husband of Kerri Fahey; dear brother of Gloria (Sam) Lee, the late Steve Fahey, Kathy (Kurt) Dickason, Robert Fahey and Debbie (Jeff) Nanney; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

John was raised in Overland and attended All Souls Catholic Grade School and graduated from Ritenour class of 1971. He was an accomplished athlete and could retell numerous stories of his glory days. He worked 20 years for the Pattonville School District where he enjoyed watching his two schools rival one another. Things that John held dear were his faith, family, and lifelong friendships. He enjoyed reading, playing music, and working out. He gave his Silver Sneakers card a run for their money. John was proud to participate in the Senior Olympics no matter the sport.

Visitation at Ortmann's, 9222 Lackland Rd. Overland, Sat. Dec. 16, 10-11 a.m. Service at 11 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Our Lady's Inn or Ritenour Co-Care Food Pantry appreciated.
