John Walter Williams

Baptized into the hope of Christ's Resurrection on Wed., October 4, 2023. Beloved husband of Jeanette Williams (nee Park); dear father and father-in-law of Jeromey (Candy Lee) Williams, Jason (Terra) Williams and Cory Williams; loving grandfather of Jade Williams, Kristen Bryant and Mia and Liam Williams; dear brother of the late Grace Owens and Jean Hansen.

John Williams was born the summer of 1940 and worked with his family on a small hard scrabble NW Mo farm.  He graduated from NW Mo State in Maryville and then began a 35 year career as an IRS agent.  He was promoted to their International division and acquired a CPA certification. He bicycled several times with his wife all over Europe.  Alaska and the High Colorado were favorite destinations he shared and cherished with his family.

Visitation at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur on Fri., Oct. 13 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. John Bosco Church, 12934 Marine Ave, Creve Coeur on Sat., Oct. 14 at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter Cemetery in Kirkwood. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association appreciated.
