In Loving Memory of Jon W. Carlson
October 19, 1941 - September 17, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jon W. Carlson at Aberdeen Heights in Kirkwood, Missouri, where he received tender care from a loving staff in his final days.

Jon was the devoted husband of Margie Carlson, his wife of 43 years, with whom he shared a life of adventure, friendship, love, and unwavering dedication to their family.

He was the loving father of Chris (Sharon), Randy (Tiffany), Amy, Mike (Suzanne), and Megan (Tim Law). He was a proud grandfather to Erik (Karlee), Scott, Avary, Kendell (Ryan), Jordan, Jessica, Tim, Spencer, Erin, Cristian, Ella, Cooper and Kaylynn, and a delighted great-grandfather to Charlie and Jovie, who brightened his later years.

Jon was adored by his family and friends and his warmth, humor, and generosity of spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had an extraordinary gift for making new friends wherever he went. Jon made everyone feel at home and welcome instantly.  He was always interested in "your" story, engaging with his quick wit and kind heart.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
