Joseph E. Noonan, a Naval Veteran of WWII, passed away in his sleep on July 1 ^st , 2022. Joe was born on May 5, 1927 to Grace and Joseph J. Noonan of Wilmington, MA. Joe was 95 years old. He had a younger brother, Dan, and they were "thick as thieves".

Joe started his own business, Gateway International in 1979 and semi-retired at the age of 70. He married the late JoAnn (Lye) Noonan, in 1953. Joe is survived by his 6 children, Katie Wilson (Patrick), Joe Noonan, Jr., Danny Noonan (Ilene), Maggie Noonan (Doug), Kevin Noonan (Julie) and Sean Noonan (Ruth Ann). Also, 16 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

Services at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Thursday, July 28 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity or the Disabled American Veterans.
