Jung Im Ko, March 19, 2023

Beloved wife of the late Dr. Wang Ko; Loving mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Han Ko, Mrs. Han Im, Dr. Hanho Ko, Mrs. Sookyoung Jung, Mrs. Jae  Hee Kim, Dr. Daniel Kim; Caring grandmother of Dr. Hyunjoo Ko, Mr. Edward Ko (U.S. military officer to be in 2023), Miss Sarah Kim, Mr. Andy Kim and Mr. Alex Ko.

She was educated in Sookmyung Women's University in Seoul, one of the top universities in S. Korea in 1960s and immigrated to U.S.A. later years. Jung was not only a very caring person but also a successful business woman who served in many capacities. She founded and operated multiple businesses with her husband, the late Dr. Wang Ko and her family in international whole sale business,  commercial real estate, lodging properties, and venture capital in her life time. She also maintained keen interest with Korean War veterans who fought for Koreans' freedom during the War. She kept decades of professional relationships with them with her son by attending and supporting many functions and speaking engagements. She was a very active member of her community. She engaged in her church, St. Andrew Kim Church activities, fundraising for various nonprofits and charities, volunteering for homeless shelters and cultural foundations such as Gateway Korea Foundation. Later in life, she found passion in traveling and painting. She has traveled all over the world for her business and pleasure with her family, and painted many pieces of beautiful nature.
