Karen Roberts DeRienzo - Beauty Queen and Louis Vuitton Executive

Karen Roberts DeRienzo (1942-2026) of Haworth NJ peacefully passed away on 25 June 2026 of natural causes. Karen was a former Miss World’s Fair and Miss Florida. She also had a long and highly successful career with Louis Vuitton.

Karen was born and raised in the St. Louis, Missouri area and went to Stetson University and the University of Florida. Karen enjoyed a loving marriage to former Haworth Mayor John DeRienzo, and is survived by their three children: Richard, Rod, and Katie. She was also the proud grandmother of Derien, Isabella, Zane, Sylis, Oona, and Ozzi.

Karen is best remembered for her never ending positive outlook on life, her tireless fight for women’s rights, and as the matriarch of the DeRienzo family. She was always there for her family and friends, and her children could not have asked for a better mother.

Visitation at the Ortmann Funeral Home, 9222 Lackland Rd. Overland MO, Tues., July 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Service at 1 p.m. Interment Lake Charles Cemetery.
