Craddock
April 3, 1945 – May 3, 2023
Kathy Craddock (nee Teach)
Beloved wife of the late John H. Craddock "Jack"; dear mother and mother-in-law of John H. (Michele) Craddock, Jr. and Adam (Mary Ellen) Craddock; dear grandmother of Jack, Ainsley, Braeden, Sydney, Duncan, Mary Kate, Sam and Nick; dear sister of Tina Johnson and the late Al "Bud" Teach; dear friend of Barbara Wikoff; faithful companion of Drax; our dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend.
Born in Miami Beach, Florida, in 1945, Kathy grew up in the Philippines and Culver, Indiana, where she was in the first class of female students at Culver Military Academy. She moved to St. Louis where she received her RN degree from the Barnes School of Nursing and met the love of her life, Jack. She married Jack, after which they raised two sons and numerous pets. She spent her life building, nurturing, and caring for her family and friends. In addition to her roles as wife, mother, grandmother (a.k.a. "Hunny") and friend, she was a nurse, and in her second career, a talented artist creating one-of-a-kind hand-made jewelry pieces. Persevering through a serious illness, she spent the last years of her life caring for and supporting her husband, Jack, and her children and grandchildren.
