Kenneth George Bader 86, passed away peacefully at his home, April 28, 2026. Born January 16, 1940 in Rhineland Missouri where he lived until he was 18. Farming was in his blood his entire life. He graduated from St George High School and earned a degree in Mathematics from SWMS. Ken met the love of his life, Fran Rengel and the two were married on July 8, 1967. In 1975, he founded Bader & Associates Real Estate Appraisers, later passing on the business to four of his sons. Ken enjoyed traveling, great food and time with friends and family, especially returning to Rhineland. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Olivia Bader; sisters, Genny VanBooven and Martha Hagedorn. He is survived by his wife, Frances Rengel Bader; daughter, Amy (Todd) Meier; sons, Daniel (Jennifer), Luke (Sue), Adam (Caroline), Mark, John (Katie) and Andrew Bader; grandchildren Jack, Charlie, Grace, Spencer, Quin, Ethan, Graham, Gavin, Zeke, Lucy, Marion, Jimmy, Isabella, Dakota, Morgan & Emily; Siblings Mel Bader and Eileen McGowan. In retirement, Ken and Fran traveled extensively with friends and family. He loved his family, farming, a good vacation, a great laugh and better company.

Visitation at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, MO on Tuesday, May 12, 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, May 13, 10 am at St. John Bosco 12934 Marine Ave, St Louis, MO 63146.
