Kevin Blair Ukele
4/19/1951 – 7/23/2025

Kevin Ukele, 74, of Overland, MO, passed away on July 23, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer. He was one of eight children born to Robert P. Ukele and Grace Delillian (Hough) Ukele.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Grace Ukele.

Kevin will be missed by his longtime friend and companion Joyce Marie Jones. He is survived by his children; Kevin Blair Ukele Jr. of Canton, MS, Shelly May Johnson of Cedar Hill, MO, and Timothy Blair Johnson of Villa Ridge, MO. He leaves behind five grandchildren; Blair Elizabeth Ukele, Rebecca Renee Ukele, Colton Blair Graham, Uriah Dean Johnson, and Tristan Orion Johnson.

He is also survived by all his siblings: Kathie, Keith, Kaye, Kim, Kris, Kenny, and Koren—as well as many nieces and nephews.

Kevin retired a few years ago from his career in pest control, earning him the moniker "The Bug Man." He enjoyed riding his motorcycles, spending time with friends, and was a formidable spades player. He was also a dedicated blues music enthusiast.

Kevin served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1972.

Visitation at Ortmann's, 9222 Lackland Rd., Overland, Thurs., July 31, from 11 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
