Beloved husband of Deborah Selzle, son of Norman & Nina Selzle, brother of Lynn (James) Wolters, and uncle of Madison Wolters, stepfather of Dorian Manning, Lauren (Evan) Gossitt, & Adrian Manning, Grandpa Kurt to Elysia Gossitt, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kurt was born June 28, 1964, in Aberdeen South Dakota. He was a 1982 graduate of Frederick High School and a 1986 graduate of the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology. He took pride in having perfect attendance throughout high school and college! Kurt was an active member of the Theta Tau Fraternity.
Kurt worked for several local companies before beginning his real estate career with Coldwell Banker Gundaker. Once established as a realtor, Kurt launched his own real estate investment business, Selzle & Associates. For 20 years, he found great success as both a realtor, and a real estate investor.
Kurt was a devoted member of the Gateway City Church where he served in numerous capacities. He loved traveling and spending time with family and friends, especially time outdoors. He enjoyed skiing, mountain biking, and snow mobiling, just to name a few. He also loved spending time with little Elysia! Their favorite past time was learning to clean. Kurt was well known for his love of craft beer, spicy foods and his love of learning.
Kurt and Deb were married on June 29, 2013, the day after Kurt's 49th birthday! They spent their married years together in a beautiful log cabin home in Maryland Heights, MO, almost 9 years before God called Kurt home.
Visitation at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Fri., April 8, 4-8 p.m. Service Sat. April 9, 10 a.m. at Gateway City Church, 9330 Stansberry Ave, St. Louis, MO 63134. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
