Obituary

Kyle Richard Toser-Aldaz passed away in St. Louis, MO on January 19, 2026, at the age of 29.

He was born in Kansas City, MO in 1996 to Ed Aldaz and Lenore Toser-Aldaz.  He graduated from Parkway North High School in 2014, having participated in the gifted program and Missouri Scholars Academy; lettering in wrestling; being a member of the homecoming court his senior year; and obtaining the designation of Eagle Scout.

He received a scholarship to attend Saint Louis University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2018 and was a member of the Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity.  As a Registered Nurse in the St. Louis area, he worked at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in both acute care and oncology; for Select Specialty Hospital in critical care; and most recently, at St. Mary's Hospital as an operating room nurse floater.  He also completed several traveling nurse stints in Seattle, WA; Olathe, KS; and Indianapolis, IN.  Also recently, he had been accepted by the University of Missouri–St. Louis into their chemistry program.

Kyle is survived by his parents and sister Amanda Toser-Aldaz, St. Louis, MO; his half-brother Alex (Claudia) Aldaz and half-sister Teri (Robert) Dias, San Diego, CA; uncles Alan (Terry) Toser, Phoenix, AZ, Jay (Christa) Toser, Plover, WI, and Arturo Aldaz, El Paso, TX; three nephews, one niece and one great niece, in addition to numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Bernadelle Toser, and Leo and Hortensia Aldaz; his aunts Gloria Aldaz and Jenifer Kohn; and his uncle, Robert Kohn.

He had a beautiful smile that could light up any room, a goofy sense of humor, a great intellect, and a caring and kind heart.  He liked video games and gaming, anime, LEGO's, kombucha, camping and hiking, and attending outdoor music festivals and other music events, dreaming of one day being a DJ as he had his own mixing board.  He also enjoyed the City Museum and the Missouri Botanical Gardens which spurred him on to begin raising orchids.  He was always fascinated with fish and reptiles, hoping to one day bring home a bearded dragon.  This just scratches the surface of his extraordinary personality.  His presence will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or other charity of your choosing.
