Beloved husband of Sherri (Kopplin) Maierhoffer-Rose; dear father of the late Justin Hofmann; cherished brother of Susan (Rose) Kattentidt, Bill Rose, Patty (Rose) Dunn and Dave Rose; Loving son-in-law of Barb and Mike McBride and Craig Kopplin; dear stepdad to Alex Maierhoffer and Katelynn Maierhoffer; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Larry had a deep love and appreciation for music. He loved going to see local bands perform and especially enjoyed rock and metal concerts. One of his greatest passions was cranking up his amps and playing his guitars. A lifelong and devoted St. Louis Blues fan, Larry truly loved the game of hockey. Whether he was watching the Blues play, or talking hockey with friends and family. Cheering passionately through every season, hockey was something that brought him great joy. He also remained fiercely loyal to his Dallas Cowboys, no matter what anyone had to say. Larry also enjoyed spending time swimming and being around the people he cared about most.
