Lawrence A. Biedenstein passed away suddenly on October 3, 2026.

Larry was the youngest beloved son of Dorothy Jane and Vincent George Biedenstein – deceased. He was born December 7, 1959 and grew up in Sycamore Hills, MO. He was an Eagle Scout and 1978 graduate of Christian Brothers College along with being a founding member of the Cerra Players at CBC in 1975. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Theatrical Arts from Saint Louis University in 1982.

Larry was the loving father of Shannon (Mike) Stearns , Lauren (George) Corcoran, Anthony & Gracie Biedenstein (Keir Dicus) and grandchildren Cameron, Aiden, Abbie, Emry, Adeline, Michaela, Lydia & Kade. He is survived by brothers Gerry (Barb), Bill (Cathy), John and Tom Biedenstein.

Larry spent his career on stages across Saint Louis as Stage Manager for Dance St Louis, and as a 40 year member of United Scenic Artist, Local USA 829 at the MUNY and a IATSE Local 6 Stagehands. He was Master Scenic Artist at the MUNY for decades.

Memorial Visitation will be held 10am prior to 11am funeral mass Monday October 19 at Our Lady of Presentation Catholic Church, 8860 Tudor Ave, Overland, MO 63114. Interment at Calvary Cemetery following mass.
